We will have our final IPS PD Day on Tuesday, January 19th. Please plan to attend at your previous sites and sign in. For our new staff after October 19th....I will be sending you the link to sign up for the training. Check wth your grade level teammates for details.
I know there has been A LOT thrown at you the past two weeks. I am proud of how you have taken this information and your efforts into planning effective instruction to meet the needs of your student. Our conversations at PLC's are growing more powerful and becoming more focused on meeting the needs of our students. Let's keep that momentum going!!! ENJOY A JEANS DAY on Friday!!
Please find the updated tutoring schedule attached. As discussed in PLC's, if your tutor is with you during guided reading, you should be targeting your bubble readers and allowing the tutors to give them a double dip of the teacher table. Students should be reading and focusing on TDR standards to increase mastery while growing in their reading levels. If you need clarification of the role of the tutor in your classroom, please let me know!
iPads for the classrooms will be ready for pickup on Friday, January 22nd. Each regular education class and related arts class will receive 5 iPads...and our Special Education rooms will receive 3 iPads. Sign out will be in the Media Center between 8-8:35 and your respective prep times.
