PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Pleasant Run Families:
We had an exciting and busy week of learning this week at Pleasant Run. I am extremely impressed with the C.O.R.E. decisions being made by our students on a daily basis. We are not always perfect, but we know that tomorrow is always a new day.
Our 4th graders traveled to Conner Prairie this week and had a blast! Our students had the opportunity to learn about the Civil War, visit the Treetop Outpost, Prairie town, and also had several animal encounters. They can't wait to return!
Finally, we had the opportunity today to celebrate and recognize our C.O.R.E. + students at the Splash Pad next to Pleasant Run. These C.O.R.E. + students follow our C.O.R.E. expectations on a daily basis and look to make a difference in the lives of others. Please remember that we will have C.O.R.E. + celebrations throughout the school year, along with our C.O.R.E. carnival, prior to Fall, Winter and Spring break.
I appreciate your support and ask that you reach out with any questions.
Mr. Koomler
Principal

Joining the PTA allows you to meet some great people. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone.
The mission of the Pleasant Run Elementary PTA is to act in the interest of the children, to encourage understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to promote programs that benefit the success of children’s learning. The Pleasant Run PTA supports education through active participation and advocacy.
Pleasant Run Elementary has a very active and supportive PTA. We sponsor many fun events throughout the school year. We also provide volunteers for many school events as well as provide support for school programs such as Super Reader, Breakfast with Santa and the annual fund raiser. Please join us for a PTA meeting to see what we’re all about.
