Message from the Principal
We're BACK! WELCOME TO THE 2022-2023 school year! I am excited to see all of you in person again! I hope you are all well rested. Our Barbieri educators are ready to welcome our hawks back to school! All staff have been in the building setting up their office and classroom spaces, participating in professional development sessions, and preparing lessons to welcome all of our students back to school!
This summer I traveled with friends and family, met my goal of reading four fun summer beach books and spent a lot time at the beach! My family and I traveled to Cancun, Mexico and really enjoyed each other's company and logging off electronics. I hope you all enjoyed time with friends and family too! We all need this time to recharge and relax to return refreshed for our students. They deserve it!
THANK YOU TO OUR FABULOUS BARBIERI PTO FOR PROVIDING COFFEE AND TREATS THIS MORNING TO WELCOME STAFF TO THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR!
Tomorrow we will be hosting our KINDERGARTEN FALL ORIENTATION 10AM-11AM. All Kindergarteners will go home with their parents/guardians at the end of the orientation.
Tomorrow is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for ALL STUDENTS in GRADES 1-5 ONLY.
Les deseo mucho descanso esta noche. Nos vemos mañana!
Maria
Mrs. Maria J. Davis Directora-Principal Grade 5 | Mrs. Gizelle Lev Directora Asistente- Vice Principal Grades K, 1, and 3 | Mrs. Lauren Foley Interina Directora Asistente- Interim Vice Principal Grades 2 and 4 |
Barbieri School Administrative Team
Ms. Lev will move into grade 1 and grade 3 with her former students and welcome the this year's new Kindergarten class.
Ms. Foley will work closely with grade 2 and grade 4.
While we work closely together having designated grade levels allows us to work even more closely with specific grade level teams of teachers, students and their families. Most importantly, this model allows us to move on with our students each year and strengthens our relationships year after year!
