Grad Walks for 5th and 6th Grade

In the past weeks our 5th and 6th grade students have been touring the Junior High School and seeing what is in store for them next year. The students have come back excited and ready to go across the street for school, if not a little nervous about lockers! To help send them off in style we are working on plans for Grad Walks for our 5th and 6th graders. We have a lot to schedule around, so bear with us!

Right now we have tentatively scheduled the 5th grade grad walk for May 13 at 11:50, in conjunction with Field Day. Students will walk through the building and be cheered by the other grade levels before going out to Field Day where they will enjoy their cupcakes during the rest break station. Parents are invited to join us outside on the playground and stay for Field Day.

The 6th grade grad walk is scheduled for May 17th, with parents invited to join us in the gym at 12:10 for the students to enjoy their cupcakes after their grade walk. Parents are then welcome to sign their child out, since this is the last day of school and school dismisses at 12:40.

These plans are what we have right now and teachers will communicate any additional information as it becomes available. Thanks!
