Greetings Parents and Students,

On behalf of the faculty and staff at Challenge Early College High School, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new students. We are thrilled to have you join our community and embark on a challenging and rewarding academic journey with us.

At Challenge Early College High School, we are dedicated to providing our students with a rigorous education that prepares them for success in college and beyond. Our curriculum is designed to challenge students academically while also nurturing their personal growth and development. Our faculty and staff are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore their interests and pursue their passions.

Challenge Early College HS is an HISD high school and is in partnership with Houston Community College. Our school is perfect for students looking for a non-traditional school schedule, offering support in a safe and collegial environment. Our mission is all students will obtain their Distinguish high school diploma and associate degree in 4 years. We have a supportive, flexible academic environment, while building habits and skills to help them be successful in any post-secondary academic institution. We also provide counseling services and academic support to ensure that every student has the tools and resources they need to achieve their goals.

We encourage parents to become involved in our school community as well. Our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is a great way to stay informed about school events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support our students.

We are excited to welcome you to Challenge Early College High School and look forward to getting to know you better. We believe that with hard work, determination, and support from our school community, you can achieve your full potential and succeed in all your future endeavors.

En nombre de la facultad y el personal de la Escuela Secundaria Challenge Early College, me gustaría extender una cálida bienvenida a nuestros nuevos estudiantes. Estamos encantados de que se una a nuestra comunidad y se embarquen en un viaje académico desafiante y gratificante con nosotros.

En Challenge Early College High School, estamos dedicados a proporcionar a nuestros estudiantes una educación rigurosa que los prepara para el éxito en la universidad y más allá. Challenge Early College HS es una escuela secundaria de HISD y está en asociación con Houston Community College. Nuestra escuela es perfecta para estudiantes que buscan un horario escolar tradicional, ofreciendo apoyo en un ambiente seguro y colegial. Nuestra misión es que todos los estudiantes obtendrán su diploma de escuela secundaria distinguida y título asociado (clases de universidad) en 4 años. Tenemos un ambiente académico flexible con apoyo, al tiempo que desarrollamos hábitos y habilidades para ayudarlos a tener éxito en cualquier institución académica postsecundaria

Animamos a los padres a involucrarse en nuestra comunidad escolar también. Nuestra Organización de Padres y Maestros (PTO, por sus siglas en inglés) es una excelente manera de mantenerse informado sobre eventos escolares, oportunidades de voluntariado y formas de apoyar a nuestros estudiantes.

  To accept the seat, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Log into your online application at https://choosehisd.my.site.com/Apply/SiteLanding
  2. Go to the NEXT STEPS box under the Status: Offered Placement notification.
  3. Sign the Entrance Agreement: The Entrance Agreement can be found by clicking the link that says “Sign Entrance Agreement”
  4. Upload your Proof of Residence in HISD to the application by clicking the link that says “Upload Documents”

  Acceptable Proof of Residence Documents:

  • Lease agreement (parent/guardian name must be listed on lease)
  • Electric, natural gas or water bill from within the last 3 months.
