During our time at the pond we saw different types of species that called the pond their home, such as small fish and Water Striders.
What is native and no-native?
Native is a Species that normally lives and thrives in a particular ecosystem. This can include any species that developed with the surrounding habitat.
Non-native is an species brought from another place from another country or continent. For example a lionfish.

What is a Watershed?
~ A watershed is the area of land where all of the water that is under it or drains off of it goes into the same place. Watersheds come in all shapes and sizes. They cross county, state, and national boundaries and in the continental US, there are 2,110 watersheds.
