City of God

What is it

The City of God is a connection between the roman empire and the church.

Why is it significant

Under Nicholas 5th's orders the Roman renaissance went into development. He also ordered the ancient Rome aqueducts to be restored. This made a lot of people to the city and some were important at the time like Michaelangelo, Rafael, and Bramante. Then they were taken to the church to see it and try to get them to switch to the religion.
