This week we remembered Principal Segersten on his birthday by dressing as superheroes and holding a shoe drive to collect shoes based on his love for shoes. Thank you to everyone that participated one way or another.

The beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss was born on March 2.
This year, Gavilan Peak has special events planned each day to celebrate reading!

Wear a school-appropriate graphic shirt with messages for others to read.

If somebody is confused in school and they have a growth mindset, what messages would they tell themselves?
What would their messages sound like if they had a fixed mindset?
- Please alert the school nurse if your child is taking any medication, or if your child’s medication changes. This is very important so that the nurse can be on the alert for possible side effects.
