Letter From the Superintendent
Dear Panther Families,
I hope your summer has been amazing!
This year, we're moving into phase II of our Outdoor Education Program which means more time spent outdoors in our own nature based learning laboratory!
As a reminder, Pioneer School has moved to a 4-day school week. Students will attend school Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. For parents looking for something fun to do on Fridays, Yellowstone River Parks Association is offering Friday Nature School at John H. Dover Park. For more information, contact Carolyn Sevier carolyn.sevier@yrpa.org.
Be sure to check out our monthly newsletters for updates on school events as well as our monthly Adult Education classes! Most of these classes are free to the community and this year, will include some ventures into John H. Dover Park. You won't want to miss these!
I hope that everyone enjoys their last few weeks of summer break and I look forward to seeing you all on August 21st!
Sincerely,
Melissa Schnitzmeier
Principal/Superintendent, Pioneer Elementary

Below is a group of forms that MUST be filled out completely by August 21st, 2023. The majority of these forms are completely electronic, and will be submitted to the office electronically once you click "submit". Note: Many of these electronic forms require something to be listed in each space. If it does not apply to your child, simply put "N/A". Others, such as the Free and Reduced Milk Application, will need to be printed and submitted to the office.
These forms are ESSENTIAL to us updating student information so please ensure they are filled out completely.
If you do not have a printer or are unable to complete the forms online and need hard copies sent to you to complete, please text or call the school at (406) 373-5357.

School Supply List
Our Teacher Meet & Greet will be Thursday, 8/17, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
Our white building is still under construction so the 4th/5th graders are asked to bring their school supplies to the first day of school. 4/5 can meet with Mrs. Rau in Mrs. Eissinger’s classroom (Rm105). All other grade levels may bring their school supplies to Meet & Greet.
Never fear though, the building will be ready for the first day of school, 8/21!
