Book Buddy Programming:
This program was designed to create positive relationships between elementary and middle school students. The buddies would read for enjoyment, all while continuing to build literacy skills. Once or twice weekly, the team of two students would read and discuss a new book together. Students would have access to many new books purchased by the school with the Foster and Evelyn Barkema Charitable Trust Grant.
