What does it mean to be thankful?
thankful adjective
thank·ful | \ ˈthaŋk-fəl \
Definition of thankful
: conscious of benefit received
: expressive of thanks
: well pleased
I would like to take this time to say “THANK YOU” to all of our PT staff!! We have much to be thankful for. I encourage everyone to stop for a minute (after you read this newsletter) and make a mental list of everything/everyone at PT that you are thankful for. I know my list would be loooonnnggg. I am conscious of the benefits that I receive, but definitely need to work on my expressiveness of thanks. I am well pleased of all your hardwork and dedication to our PT students and will work on showing my thankfulness every way that I can.
Just in case you didn’t know...Matrix money can be given to teachers too!! There is a plastic tub in the office that is our Matrix Market that includes things like Thirsty Thursday coupons, recess duty passes, and much more. Let’s show our appreciation (thankfulness) to each other with money!! All you have to do is write something positive on the back and put it in their mailbox or hand it to them with a smile. Make someone’s day today!!
As we were working on ELA Unit 2, I had a few teachers let me know that there were some errors in the Unit Planner. PLEASE...if you find errors or would like to see something change, you need to go into the Feedback form and let the Curriculum Coordinators know.
ELA FEEDBACK FORMS: K-5 ELA Curriculum Feedback Form
If you create something for Unit 2 ELA, please consider contributing to your grade-level Collaboration Folder. I understand that it can be frustrating when you might be the only one contributing, but in the long run, you will be the one that SHINES!!
Words Their Way~ Please let me know how I can help make this process easier for you and your students. I will do my best to help anyway that I can!
Pineapple Calendar~Great resources in our building to observe are the Reading Interventionist and Specialist and our lab classroom teacher (Allison). She has worked really hard this year to get her room ready for visitors. She does a great job with Words Their Way if you would like to see it in action.
I wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING and a safe BLACK FRIDAY (What?! Isn’t that a holiday now??)!
