Come to School... We need you!
Last year, we had many students not attend school (or leave early) the day before winter break. Please encourage your teenager to attend school each day this week. Winter Break is from Dec. 23rd through Jan. 1st. We expect all students to be present on January 2nd and January 3rd. Thank you for your partnership!

School Counseling
Attention parents of seniors:
Any student planning to use financial aid to pay for college will need to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible. Completing the FAFSA is not a commitment to using financial aid or borrowing student loans, but it must be done to be eligible for those things. Below are links to the FAFSA application and to more information about financial aid. Free assistance is available through your school counselor, the College Planning Center of Rhode Island (see link below), and at most colleges' financial aid offices.

Scituate Gives Back!
Mrs. Buonaccorsi's history students are raising money again this season and will collect donations for Operation Backpack.
We hope to fill as many backpacks as possible with personal items and give them to the Adoption R. I. so they can be distributed to foster children. Last year, we filled 110 backpacks and delivered them to Adoption R.I. In addition to the backpacks, we raised enough money to make a $1753.00 donation to Adoption R.I. to fund art and music classes for foster children in R.I. Please consider donating to this worthy cause!
