Monday Memo
11-12-18
Great things!
Let me start with the beautiful snowfall we had last week. I heard kids talking about it all day! I hope some of you took a moment to go out and catch a few snowflakes!
You guys are amazing! The food drive barrel was so full we had to empty it to make room for more. Thank you so very much for supporting our kids and helping out with weekend food assistance.
Trivia night.... hmmm... enough said.
Pumpkin pies were being baked, and the front hall smelled soooo good! I hear the pies were a hit, and the kids wanted more. What's better than pumpkin pie for breakfast???
Challenge: This week-think about your mindset as you approach situations. You should be reading chapter 1 in our book-- what is your take away? What can you apply right now? Try to pick a situation or task this week that you can shift your thinking to a growth mindset. You can do it!

*We are continuing our Back Snack drive this week. There is still time to participate if you would like to do so.
*Please bring your book and journal to our PD/PLC on Wednesday the 14th. You will need to have read chapter 1. Also-please be in your seats ready to begin at 1:50 p.m. -(not walking into the library at that time). We have a guest coming to facilitate an activity and we will be respectful of her time.
