We had a fun week of Halloween activities! A very special thank you everyone that helped make our Halloween parties successful! We truly appreciate everything you do to support your kids and our program!
Another HUGE thank you to the dads, grandpas, uncles, boyfriends, and friends that attended our Campout night! Your participation and involvement made for an extremely fun evening! The amount of men willing to let the kids "shave" their faces was impressive! Fun fun fun! The kids had a great time!
Please make sure your are checking your child's folder and returning them to school everyday! Thanks!
We are ALREADY gaining a collection of lost items. Please remember to label all of your child's jackets, hats, and gloves. They get easily confused when they are getting ready with 19 other kids in the same area! Everything starts to look the same!
ALSO remember to switch out your child's extra change of clothes in their backpack. We don't want their only option to be shorts and a tank top on one of these chilly November days!!
Please consider your child's ability when dressing them for winter. Mittens are much easier than gloves for most kids to put on. Some of those layered winter coats are VERY hard for them to get on and off themselves. We work on the kiddos being as independent as possible (especially when we are trying to assist up to 20 kids at the same time). Please practice with the coats and mittens at home when possible.
When it's time for snow boots...please send a pair of slip on shoes, slippers, or other shoes they can get on and off by themselves.
We are half way through our study on trees! As always, feel free to contact your child's teacher if you or someone you know has something they can share about who takes care of trees, how trees change, or what we can make from trees. Thanks so much!
