Here's a hint: The following pictures were taken the same year.
The Challenge is on...
Keep reading below to see flashback photos from my classroom. They may not be "funny" but I thought you might like to see my classroom and get to know me better as a teacher.
Week of April 27th
- Biology and Algebra I EOC Tutorials continued
- PLCs meet on your own as needed
- STAAR A Practice...schedule and list of names will be emailed to you if you have students attending sessions during your classes
- Tuesday, May 5th US History EOC
- Wednesday, May 6th ALG I EOC
- Thursday, May 7th Biology EOC
I shared with you the scope and sequence template for 2015-2016. Mrs. Good and Mrs. Hatcher have requested that everyone use this format for next school year. Please make it your goal to update and revise your scope and sequence for next year before the end of school. I realize that the math teachers have new TEKS and will need more time this summer to rework their scope and sequences. Mrs. Good will help us with that.
If you have any questions, please let me know.

Mrs. McElyea's Flashback Friday
This is a picture of my 5th grade classroom. In this picture you see students working together using manipulatives to solve problems and write about math. And yes...that is an overhead projector in the background. Smiles!
This is a picture of me with one of my 5th grade classes. I absolutely love working with students. These children are very precious to me.
A great opportunity
This is a group of my 5th and 6th graders who competed in an International Community Problem Solving competition held at Colorado State University. To learn more about Community Problem Solving click on the following link.
