Newsletter Week 3 Term 3
Huirangi Primary School, Monday 9th August 2021
Kia Ora Koutou, Hello Everyone!
What a busy place! School is humming with loads of learning! It has been heartwarming to hear the discussions and excitement the children have experienced through watching the Olympic Games. What awesome role models we have across Aotearoa for our kids!
This week all of our classes attend the Reef Alive exhibition at Puke Ariki. This will provide our tamariki with new knowledge about the animals that live in, on and pass by our offshore reef. Every class will have the opportunity to conduct experiments and also discuss global environmental issues that affect our oceans, exploring ways we can protect them.
Production rehearsals and cross country practices are all happening. There will be more information in the next newsletter about our school and cluster cross country events. Please read the information carefully and mark these dates on your calendars.
This term each class will be talking about the Family/Whānau Value. This is the F in our school's R.A.F.T Values. It encompasses the ways in which we communicate and collaborate to build positive relationships with others. Classes will be exploring this in detail and it will be celebrated at the end of term assembly.
Kia pai tō wiki (have a great week).
Ngā mihi nui,
