Using science to interpret how thing work opposed to using the holy text. the change was using science interpret how the universe works opposed to the holy texts

Galileo
Galileo was an Italian math professor who made a big impact on what we know today about nature. he also plays a big part on how gravity works. he was also a certified scientist who also studied our solar system.

johannes kepler
Johannes Kepler proved that the heliocentric model of the universe was in fact true.
Kepler proposed three laws of planetary motion.
copernicus
copernicus invented the heliocentric model.
copernicus studied the heliocentric model for 30 years, he believed that the geocentric model didnt explain the movements of the sun
How did the change impact society at the time?
people noticed that the heliocentric theory wasn't correct but,the geocentric theory was.
How is that change evidenced in todays modern society?
People still believe in how earth was made and how things are done/made. Due to science or simple religion
