Fast Dash
People have been running the dash in the Olympics for many years, it stared in 1928 for women and 1896 for the men. People love to watch a good race in the Olympics but talk about racing in one! Talk about taking it to the next level. I have always taking a interest in this race and after this I hope you will too.
Reason for my study
I chose this event because I run track and i was interested to see the statistics on when the woman would outrun the men in this Olympic event.
Goal of this Study
My goal for this study is to see when the woman
in the Olympics will pass the men. I want to find a
in the Olympics will pass the men. I want to find a
rounded estimate of the time and what year this wil
l happen in.

The two line show the trend line for each gender of the Olympic gold medalist times. Red represents the female and blue represents the male trend lines.
The Intersection
This intersection shows that in the year 2174 the woman will match the men's speed. The next summer Olympic year is 2176. The speed rounded by the calculator is 8.07. This means that the woman will have to try their hardest to get to a rounded 8.07 second average.
