Helen Wills was the first women to be concreted an athletic. She was born in Fremont, California in October 6, 1905. Two facts interesting facts about Helen is. Helen won two gold Olympic medals and Helen was inducted into the Tennis Hall of fame in 1959. Helen died on January 1, 1998 at the age of 92 in Carmel, California.
The U.S changed forever
Helen Wills changed the U.S by. Proofing to people that women can be just as equal or better than men. Before 1919 women couldn't vote and people didn't have a lot of respect for women even after the fact that they could vote.
