The event builds on the momentum from the Christmas release of Concussion, the ground-breaking movie starring Will Smith, for which Dr. Daniel Amen, Founder of Amen Clinics, was a consultant. In the movie, Will Smith plays Dr. Bennet Omalu, the forensic pathologist who fought against efforts by the National Football League (NFL) to suppress his research on the brain damage suffered by NFL players.
Join us and get the facts on concussion symptoms, warning signs and what to do if you or someone you know suffers a concussion.
While interest in concussions has reached greater awareness in the media, Congress, and homes everywhere, Dr. Amen and his colleagues at Amen Clinics have been healing troubled brains for 25 years. During that time, Amen Clinics has built the world’s largest database of SPECT brain scans totaling over 115,000 images on people from 111 countries.
