A Message from the Principal

Thanksgiving is next week. This is a great time to reflect on everything that we are thankful for. I am thankful to be part of this amazing community. Our students, families and staff are the best. Each day at Roosevelt-McGrath, magical moments occur and memories are made. I am thankful for all of the brightness our students bring into our lives. Next week, I hope you are able to spend time with family and friends to make some wonderful memories.

Student Principal of the Day: Miss Abby

Congratulation to our student Principal of the Day, Miss Abby. Abby is a 2nd grade student in Mrs. Lepish's class. Her Roadrunner Buck was selected randomly to be our Principal of the Day today. Students earn Roadrunner Bucks by being safe, respectful and responsible. She was AMAZING! She helped Mr. Watson all day. Some of the awesome things she did today included:

Reading to students
Had a virtual meeting with our Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Ofili
She met with two awesome Police Officers and Fire Fighters
Helped in the lunchroom
Enjoyed a yummy McDonalds lunch with a friend
She helped everyone have a great day
And so much more...

Thank you Miss Abby. YOU are amazing!

Important Dates

November 23, 2022: Half day (Dismissal is at 11:40 am)

November 24 and 25: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

November 29, 2022: PTO Meeting located at Roosevelt-McGrath at 6pm

Week of December 5: Parent/Teacher Conferences (Teachers will contact you to schedule)

December 5-9: PTO Scholastic Book Fair

December 6 and 8: Half days (Dismissal is at 11:40 am)

December 19-22: PTO Santa Shop

December 26- January 6:No School (Winter Recess) School resumes Monday, Jan. 9, 2023.
