Kids Heart Challenge Information
North Oakview will be kicking off our American Heart Association fundraiser next week!
During the month of February, I will be teaching students about heart health in PE class. I will kick things off with a presentation during PE classes about the American Heart Association, and through fun activities we will discover great ways to take care of our hearts and minds while practicing kindness, gratitude, and ways to de-stress. I will be encouraging students and their families to help raise funds and donations for the American Heart Association to help this great organization protect all hearts - especially kids in need! The fundraiser will begin January 30th and end on February 28th. As students collect donations, the AHA provides thank you gifts that I will be passing out during lunch time.
Along with the traditional AHA thank you gifts, students who raise funds for the AHA have three additional incentives:
This year, any student who raises $50 or more will get to attend a glow party hosted by Mrs. Borgman!!
Also, the TEACHER with the most registered students gets a $25 Amazon gift card!!
Finally, your donations help our school earn FREE PE Equipment for the coming school year!!
Help us support a great cause by clicking HERE to register or by going to http://www2.heart.org/goto/NorthOakview
Thank you so much for supporting our school and the American Heart Association! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!

FAMILY FUN NIGHT
FAMILY FUN NIGHT
Saturday, March 4 from 2pm to 5pm At Northview High School
Family Fun Night is a PTC fundraiser, and everyone is invited to join the fun. There will be games, face painting, a bounce house, food, a cakewalk and more.
Your help is needed to donate items for our Family Fun Night Raffle baskets and is crucial to the event’s success. We have created suggestions based on grade level below. Please donate new items that follow that grade theme. Donations can be turned into the box in the North Oakview office. All donated items will be used to create baskets of items to raffle at the Family Fun Night. We would also love donations of baskets if you have them!
DK & Kindergarten: Arts & Crafts (e.g. crayons, paper, stickers, craft kits)
1st Grade: Athletics/Outdoor Toys/Games (e.g. sports balls, Sports Themed Items (pick your favorite team), outside games, sidewalk chalk, bubbles)
2nd Grade: Movie Night items (movies, popcorn, candy)
3rd Grade: Books (books, comic books, graphic novels, activity books, journals)
4th Grade: Game Night (board games, puzzles, card games)
