What an amazing assembly for the students! A special thank you to Ms. Skibbie for making the day special for students, staff and military personnel and the PTO for providing coffee and goodies for the veterans and active military who came to the assembly. The children were in awe of everyone who came on Friday and the veterans enjoyed the performance.

The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) will be administered to all second and fifth grade students between November 14 - 18, 2022. Madison students will be taking CogAT on November 14, 15 and 16. Please make every effort to have your child(ren) here on those days to take the assessment with their peers. More information will be shared soon.

Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences are a very important opportunity for communication between home and school. We look forward to having the time to share information about the progress of your child(ren) in person this year. We encourage you to come into the building to meet with your child's teacher. If you are unable to attend in person, there is a virtual option available.
The District has set aside two days for conferences during Thanksgiving week. We appreciate you making yourself available during these times to meet with your child’s teacher. The conference dates are Monday, November 21st (2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) and Tuesday, November 22nd (8:00 a.m.– 2:00 p.m.)
You should have received an email from the District Office with directions on how to sign-up for your Parent Teacher Conference. If you have additional questions, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher.
Please note that the children will be off the entire week. Monday and Tuesday for parent teacher conferences and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving break.

Lost and Found
There are several items in the lost and found. If your child is missing something, please ask them to check the lost and found. It might also be helpful to let the classroom teacher know what is missing. Sometimes the children have a hard time identifying their missing items. Please also label items with your child’s name so if they do end up in the lost and found we can return them to your child.
