All schedule change request forms are due by January 6 at 3PM. We are unable to change FLEX hours to accommodate requests. Schedules change requests are not guaranteed due to minimal course availability. Requests to switch teachers or hours for classes are unable to be accommodated.

First Fridays Raffle Winners
Congratulations to Olivia McKinney, Alexander Zook, and Brayden Moppin- they were this months raffle winners at the Counseling Department's First Fridays! event on Nov. 4. Please come to the Counseling Office to select your prize!

Did you know LHS offers many exciting opportunities for your student to earn high school credit with our various off campus programs? Is your student interested in any of the programs below? Please encourage them to attend our "Off Campus Opportunities Mini Fair" on Nov 9th during their flextime in the Black Box theatre.
They can speak with program representatives, learn about the application process and ask questions. Information regarding the programs can be found HERE LPS will also be sponsoring an "Off Campus Opportunities Night" for students and parents on January 11th at 6pm at LHS. HBCU College Fair and Showcase
The Park Hill School District will be hosting an HBCU College Fair and Showcase on Thursday, November 10, 2022! This College Fair and Showcase will be held at Park Hill High School located at 7701 NW Barry Road, KCMO 64153 from 6-8 PM. Military Service Academy and ROTC Night
Students interested in attending a military academy or participating in ROTC during college are invited to attend an information night on November 11th at 7PM at Blue Springs South High School. RSVP to Colonel Stan Cole scole2@bssd.net or 816-874-3526.
Northland Career Center Open House
Northland Career Center in Platte City is having an open house on Thursday Nov 10th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Grades 8-11 are invited to attend! Information can be found HERE.
Local Scholarships Available
Throughout the year we receive Scholarship Information from donors around the KC area and beyond. When we receive a scholarship, we post it in Naviance! Scholarships will continue to come in throughout the year, so get in the habit of checking the Scholarship list.
MY MISSOURI "MyMO" SCHOLARSHIP PROMISE
Attention Freshmen! “MyMO” Scholarship Promise will assist Missouri students from low-income backgrounds on their pathway to college starting 9th grade year. The yearly benchmarks will help students be more college ready by senior year. Earn Scholarship Dollars for College: Students earn $2,500 each year by meeting college-going benchmarks, totaling $10,000 by senior year. These funds will be disbursed directly to the school in the form of an outside scholarship to any eligible college in Missouri on behalf of the student. For more Information Click HERE!
