During the next few weeks, students will learn about primary and secondary sources, and the differences between them, culminating in an activity where they are asked to be primary sources for the COVID-19 experience. This will be followed up by introducing students to the 5 themes of geography, which helps us to study History. They will then work on a group project, and also an individual project about 5 Themes of geography, which will be a summative assessment. Then we will enter into the TCI textbook, beginning with the Introduction, which is titled "Rome:From Republic to Empire". By starting at this point in the book, we will seamlessly connect to the end of the learning sequence from 7th grade History and reinforce key points which will allow us to move into the first chapter of the textbook "The Legacy of the Roman Empire".
