Do you need information about course verification for the 2022-2023 school year? Please see the letter that was sent out to parents on April 27 with the directions linked below.
LB Parents/Guardians,
On April 27, 2022 course request verification letters were sent home with all LBHS students in grades 9-11. This letter noted all of the courses your student requested when they registered for the 2022-2023 school year. You can access the course requests online by following the attached directions.
If you would like to make any change to the course request please notify the Lord Botetourt High School Counseling Office by June 30, 2022. Please refer to the Botetourt County Middle and High School Program of Studies 2022-2023 for more information on course options. The Program of Studies can be found on the BCPS website under the parent and resources tab. If you would like to view your student’s current course requests online please refer to the directions included with this letter.
Students are encouraged to make schedule choices carefully. Dropping or changing a course selection may necessitate a complete schedule change and impact a student’s progress towards graduation. Changes in initial course selections cannot be made after July 1, 2022. No exceptions will be made unless approved by the building administration. Please refer to the Botetourt County Middle and High School Program of Studies 2022-2023 for more information on dropping a course. Changes from one course to another will be made only under the following circumstances:
Failure of a course that is a prerequisite for a scheduled course or a graduation requirement
Human or computer error
Change in a program of studies
Recommendation of administration
No move between course levels will be made after the first five weeks of a course.
If you have any questions about this form or your student’s current progress toward graduation, please contact her or his school counselor at Lord Botetourt High School. Mrs. Salena Dewease serves students with last names starting with A-E, Mrs. Anne Ranson serves students with last names starting with F-L, Mr. Paul Craft serves students with last names starting with M-R and Ms. Heather Garnett serves students with last names starting with S-Z.
Thank you for your continued support!
