Branding on Social Media

Harmonizing Radio with Social Media

Ask Yourself... Are You Using Social Media To The Fullest?

Think of social media as an extension of your microphone. It helps you extend the conversation between you and the listener. If they can't connect with you beyond your microphone, you may have a problem.

Harmonizing Radio with Social Media

Wednesday, Aug. 21st 2013 at 10-11pm

This is an online event.

I am hosting a webinar session that will go into the positive attributes of having social media be an active part in radio, and most of all in your personal brand as a radio host.

I am a Digital Content Producer and On-air host for the Internet radio station, Graffiti Radio. It is an important part of my position to take the content that I create for on-air purposes and adapt it for our engaging social media audience.

During this upcoming webinar, we will talk about the importance of being personable on social media, being relevant with your content without being overwhelming, and making yourself useful to your audience on social media.

The discussion in this webinar will include research I’ve conducted through Forbes, Mashable, News Leader Media Group, and my personal experience. I’d like to help you figure out what techniques work best for you at your station, in your market.

Social media ever changing and it is up to you to take steps to creating your own customs that work for you.

Join me on Wednesday, August 21st at 2 pm to 3 pm for my webinar session, Harmonizing Radio with Social Media, and begin to decide what works for you.

We'll Discuss ...

  1. What social media is to your audience
  2. Common practices in social media for other businesses
  3. What can radio professionals adapt from normal use
  4. What can radio professionals create as their own
  5. What advantages radio has over other organizations
  6. How radio can individualize itself on social media
