What It Is
Incomplete Protein are low/lack in one or more of the amino acids that we need to build cells. Incomplete protein are those that don’t in sufficient quantity to meet the body’s needs, and must be supplemented with other proteins.
Where It Is
It is in plant foods and can be mixed with . For example: grains, cereals, nuts and seeds
Effects If you Lack the Nutrient
You won't get enough amino acids in your body that you need to help your cells build.
Two Types of Amino Acids
There are two types of amino acids.
Essential- You get essential amino acids via your diet because your body cannot make them
Nonessential- Nonessential amino acids, which your body can synthesize on an as-needed basis in addition to getting them via your diet.
