Croquet Tournament at Downing Park
A Day of Croquet Play
The battle for the Hudson Valley Croquet Crown is about to begin – and you’re invited to play.
All are welcome to join in for a croquet tournament in Newburgh's Downing Park on Sunday, August 10th from 2-6 pm.
No need to know how to play - instructions as well as equipment will be provided.
Show your team spirit by wearing something representing what you love about the history of your community or sport a Gibson girl look for a little historical fun.
Join us for music, games, and light refreshments. Participants and spectators are also encouraged to bring their own picnics.

Incorporated in 1884, the Society was originally dedicated to the collection and preservation of records and data pertaining to the Hudson River Valley, focusing especially on its Revolutionary War history.
Serving as stewards of our history, the Society is dedicated to preserving, promoting and protecting the unique history, architecture and culture of Newburgh. Our unique story is told through the Society’s collections, programs and events such as the Croquet Tournament.
