Williams Middle School to Host Regional Robotics Competition
Williams Middle School will host the First Tech Challenge robotics competition on Saturday, January 12. The event begins at 8:30 a.m., and competitions will begin at 10:45 a.m.
The challenge will feature eight teams from five area schools for students in grades seven through twelve who are interested in the design, construction, and programming of robots used to compete against other teams.
Each year, a new game is introduced and the students complete their robot to meet the challenges of the game. This year’s game is Rover Ruckus, which is built around the concept of a rover that must perform tasks on another planet.
