The final stretch of a fantastic school year!

Dear Families,

As we end one of the most challenging school years, I want to say "Thank You" to all our families for your support as you entrusted your children to continue their education in a seated/virtual school environment despite the COVID pandemic. With all of the necessary mandates, it wasn't an easy task for anyone, but together we managed student learning while keeping their safety a priority.

Even though we are in the final stretch of the school year, we have a lot of things happening. It is an exciting time with grade levels doing different activities to wrap up the year. Please look over the calendar so you don't miss anything!

We feel fortunate to live and teach in Beavercreek, where our kids come first!

Amelia Root - 2nd Grade - Mrs. Thompson

Millie is a very caring and respectful child who shows compassion for her classmates and teachers. She genuinely cares for others by going out of her way to offer kind words and/or offers help to others who need it. I recently overheard her welcome a new student back from virtual learning with a kind compliment about seeing her in a talent show from a previous year. She always starts her day out by responding to her teacher's welcome or even starts the cheery hello of the day. Millie has a kind heart and works well with all classmates. She shows respect in the classroom because she will acknowledge other student's good ideas. Millie is a great role model for our school!

Activities From Last Month at Main

CEREAL BOX DOMINOS

Main Elementary students and families donated over 800 boxes of cereal to local food pantries. Upper Elementary students used their measurement skills to determine how far apart the boxes need to be to make the chain work, even down our stairs! The students showed amazing Creek Pride as they cheered on the domino chain and our DARE officer helped kick the Domnios off with his siren!
