Shhhhh...It's A Secret!

Our wonderful intervention teacher, Mrs. Regina Lykins will retire from serving our students on November 26th. Reggie plans to spend part of her time in retirement volunteering at the SPCA of Cincinnati. As some of you may know, Reggie has a special love for dogs, cats and especially horses.

We would like to invite Maple Dale families, if you feel so moved, to make a donation in Mrs. Lykin's honor to the SPCA of Cincinnati. Here is the link to the "Wish List" below:

SPCA of Cincinnati "Wish List"

We will present Mrs. Lykins with the total donated at a gathering in her honor on November 25th.

Thanks,

Mrs. Reinke, Mrs. Zellner, Mrs. Studer and Mrs. Moss

All Pro Dad is teaming up with Operation Give Back - 11/20/19

You are invited to the Maple Dale Elementary All Pro Dads breakfast on Wednesday November 20th from 8-9am in the school cafeteria. This free monthly breakfast is sponsored by fathers, the PTO, and local businesses.

We will have a guest speaker from Operation Give Back and learn how we can support the work they do!

When you think about what people want most in life, it is happiness. Even the Declaration of Independence states that we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But what we are really looking for is contentment. How do we help our kids find that?

If attending please RSVP by noon on Monday November 18th via the link below so the correct amount of food is ordered.

https://allprodadsday.com/chapters/5004

Reminders- please do not walk your child to their classroom, please park down at the district offices to free parking spaces for staff members, and please be aware that a school delay or closure cancels the breakfast.

Please consider making a donation to support an upcoming meeting. Checks can be made out to “Maple Dale PTO” with “All Pro Dads” in the memo line and given to Greg or Doug.

Recycling Rangers!

Consider having your kids be in charge of reminding the family when picking up food at the drive thru or at a restaurant to ask that the family not be given plastic straws. We all know how to drink out of a cup right? "And, with the USA using 500 million straws every day (enough straws to circle around the Earth 2.5 times!), that’s a lot of trash and potential litter." for more info...
