College Central Network
Job fairs, a.k.a. career fairs and expos, are events where employers and recruiters converge to meet, assess, and screen job candidates. For job seekers, they are an excellent opportunity to meet multiple employers in one convenient location. These face-to-face forums, which can host upwards of 30 to 75+ companies under one roof, allow you to learn firsthand about prospective employers and their hiring needs, and to present your credentials in person without a prior appointment.
You are invited to use Lorenzo Walker Technical College's online College Central Network Career Management program & Job Board! You'll need your 6 digit CCPS student number as your login ID. Here's a current listing of jobs!

there are 17 different career clusters.)
Career Clusters contain occupations in the same field of work that require similar skills. Students, parents, and educators can use Career Clusters to help focus education plans towards obtaining the necessary knowledge, competencies, and training for success in a particular career pathway.
Explore all the careers listed in the O*NET
Education & Training Career Cluster.
Financial Literacy
Things don’t always go right. Sometimes you don’t get what you ordered; sometimes you get an item of the blue. What are your obligations? And by the way, are there advantages to using any particular method of payment in terms of consumer protections?
Health Literacy
One in 5 children in the United States are obese. Childhood obesity puts kids at risk for health problems that were once seen only in adults, like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease.
The good news? Childhood obesity can be prevented. Communities, health professionals, and families can work together to create opportunities for kids to eat healthier and get more active.
