What a Right Triangle is
A right triangle is a triangle with a right angle in it.
Short Leg, Long Leg, and The Hypotenuse
With the area of the short leg and the long leg added together, you get the hypotenuse. For example if you have a short leg with an area of 3 and a long leg with the area of 12, the hypotenuse will have an area of 15.
A square root is a number multiplied by itself. For example, the square root of 9 is 81 because 9x9=81. For another example, the square root of 5 is 25 because 5x5=25.
