Container Home

For this plan I tried to have the entire home open up to the rest of it. I did this by having the living room in the center of the home and all of the other rooms tail off of the living room. I also installed back patio with a pergola so that the family could enjoy their backyard all year long.

This is the home from the right side. From here they can add any type of flowers to trees to do the landscaping of the hosue.
This is an aerial view of the home from the back of the home where they can install a patio and a pergola to add to the appeal of the home.
This is the families kitchen where they can cook meals and entertain guests while being able to talk to them with the open plan that leads into the living room.
This is the kitchen in the back of the house where the family can easily see into the living room. This kitchen offers space to add in a island in the center or keep it completely open into the rest of the home for the family to entertain.
Overview
My house will be located in Medina Ohio where I was raised. I will have it here because a lot of the homes there are one story and are simple on the outside and complex on the inside. I enjoyed this project because it made you think about what you need to include in your house to suit the fake family we made the house for. I also liked that it had to be a sustainable home so I added solar panels to the roof to supply electricity and heat.
