The parts in a computer

The Hard drive

The Hard Drive holds all the storage and data. If the computer is turned off all the data saves on to the Hard Drive.

Memory data

The Optical Drive

This a drive which uses a light laser when with in or near a visible light spectrum which reads and writes all of the data.


The monitor is not the computer, the monitor is the actual screen.

Touch screen

A touchscreen is an electronic visual display that the user can control through simple or multi-touch gestures by touching the screen with a special stylus/pen and-or one or more fingers.


CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. The CPU is the electronic circuitry within a computer which carries out the instructions of a computer program.This controls the inputs and the outputs.
