Who, What, When, Where, Why, How
Germany was slowly turned into Nazi Germany by a man named Adolf Hitler and his political Nazi Party. In 1919 the party was founded and by the end of the year he had joined and rose to the leadership position. He became the leader of this party and then started to gain followers slowly, when he gained enough he tried to over throw the German police once and failed. He went to jail for a year and actually gained followers by doing so.
Media Portrayal
They portray him as a mad man. They say he out of his mind, because he views the extermination of Jews as necessary in his eyes. A "pure" Germany is what he envisioned and that's what he was willing to do anything for. Most people would say his tactics were crazy because he did not care about life or death as long as he got a pure Germany in the end. In the end he didn't care about his life and ended up killing himself.
