Weekly Highlights

Lee Westwood Golf School

Welcome Debbie!

We would like to welcome Debbie Hynard as our Administrator to the Essex School. Debbie has a wealth of experience and a strong administrative background having worked at the Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa for the last 15 years. Debbie is looking forward to meeting the students and staff!

Golfer of the Week

This weeks star player is Adam Winter. He finished third position in the Gross category and runner up in the Net category - a strong performance across the board. Well done Adam!

Turkey Work Experience

We have been offered the chance by ISM to attend the European Tour event in Turkey from 27th October - 1st November in Antalya as a work experience opportunity.

The event is optional, and the cost to attend will be in the region of £500-550 per person. Parents are welcome to attend as well as students. Accommodation would be at the 4* Maya World hotel in Antalya (full board).

Our attendance at the event would be dependent on the level of interest, so if anyone would like to know more, please contact lucie@leewestwoodgolfschool.com to register.

DISCIPLINARY POINTS

As per the code of conduct, students are given disciplinary points for any infringements during the course of the year. As an added incentive to stay points-free this year, we are introducing a cap of 20 points for the trip to Spain; any student with 20 points or more will not be permitted to join the trip. Students who may have paid for the trip will be permitted to go, but not take part in any golf activities.

We feel this is fair in terms of our expectations of behaviour & conduct throughout the year.

ALLERGIES

We have a couple of students at our Cheshire school who suffer from nut allergies - please can we ask you to remind us if you son or daughter has any severe allergies that we need to be made aware of.
