During this Thanksgiving season, we want to take a moment to share our appreciation! We thank all of our students, staff, and families for allowing us to learn and grow together each day at Central Road School. We look forward to connecting with families on student progress. We too look forward to learning from parents or guardians so we can be better informed about students' strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles. Conferences will take place on Monday, November 21 from 12:00-8:00 pm and Tuesday, November 22 from 8:00 am-12:00 pm.

Th purpose of each drill is to familiarize and re-enforce proper evacuation routes and practices to ensure safety & security in a timely manner. This week all students had an opportunity to participate in our bus evacuation drill. We also plan to hold another practice lock down drill on December 8th in the morning.

The Spelling Bee is right around the corner. Students in grade 4th-6th will participate in classroom spelling bees the week of November 28th. One classroom winner will be identified to participate in the school spelling bee that is taking place on Wednesday, December 14th. Parents or Guardians of the winners will be invited to come in person, if they wish, to watch the spelling bee. We ask there is a maximum of two guests per winner to attend the event. There will be no virtual option this school year. Please reach out to Mrs. Green or your child's classroom teacher if you have any questions.

We have seen an uptick in illnesses lately now that we are into fall and heading into winter soon. Please report any illnesses like strep, flu, pink eye, rsv, and/or covid to the Nurse's Office when confirmed by a doctor. Thank you for keeping your child(ren) at home when not feeling well. We continue to encourage consistent hand washing at school. Please email me with any questions related to your child's health needs at school. Thank you so much!
