Bronco Blast
September 11th Weekly Staff Newsletter: by Kimberly Kindred
A note from Kimberly
Another week down! I hope it was a good week for everyone and that you were able to get a lot accomplished. Things are finally starting to slow down for myself and I am remembering more and more names! :) Please forgive me if I haven't remembered yours just yet. :)
This Bronco Blast is filled with lots of optional professional learning, awards, and reminders. There are many ways to get involved. But know, if this is not the right time for you to join or add anything else to your plate, I completely understand. :)
A few NTK's:
1. We moved Open House to Monday September 21st.
2. TSReports are due September 23rd. You have the option of scheduling a pre conference meeting with your appraiser, if you choose.
3. Each teacher should have a personalized voice message on their school phones. Thank you for taking care of this right away.
What wonderful weather we are having this morning! I hear its going to be the same this weekend, low 60's and a high of 80's. That makes me want to open the windows and feel the breeze. It should be good weather for all football fans on opening weekend! I know I won't see my husband on Sundays for the next 17 weeks. :)
Don't forget to take care of YOU this weekend. With all we give to each other and students everyday, its important to remember to dedicate some time to ourselves.
Big hugs (or a high five if hugging ain't your thang),
Kimberly

Who is up for the APP challenge?
The Verizon Innovative App Challenge may be just what you are looking for! Verizon is challenging you and a team of 5-7 students to create an APP to solve a problem. You don't have to actually create the app, just the idea and create a video presentation for submission. We can have more than one team! If interested, please read more on the link below and if STILL interested, please let Mrs. Kindred know.
