Circulatory System PBL Project

These cells are very special cell and they can only in the heart. They also can generate electrical impulses by themselves and they contain more mitochondria than the usual cell.
This type of tissue is very strong, and it does not stop moving. It is only found in the heart.
This is an organ that pumps blood around the body. This organ never stops working and it is about the size of your fist.
The Cardiovascular System
This is the system that transports nutrients around the body. The heart also takes away the oxygen poor blood and reuses the blood.
The heart will keep beating until the organism dies. The Heart is the most powerful muscle in the body.
The circulatory system works with the respiratory system as it supplies oxygen and nutrients to the whole body. The circulatory system works endocrine system as it transports hormones through the blood to the organs. For example, one of the hormones produced by the heart helps control the kidneys' release of salt from the body. The respiratory system brings in oxygen that goes into the blood then the circulatory system pushes the blood around the body.
