What is Anorexia nervosa?
Anorexia Nervosa is a disease when people think they are overweight but they are underweight, and so to lose weight they don't eat. This is incredibly dangerous because you could end up in the hospital for this.
What are some symptoms of this
- Yellow or pale skin
- Brittle hair
- Thinning of the bones
- Brain damage
- Organ fails
- Tube Feeding
- Abnormal blood count
- Insomnia
- Swelling on limbs
- Emotional and behavioral issues
- Refusing to eat
- Depressed mood
How to Prevent this
- Eat! If you don't eat it can cause dizziness or can make you lose energy and possibly pass out
- If you want to lose weight go on a diet and eat healthier
- If you are clearly underweight eat more
- Go to your doctor
- If your doctor tells you to go for treatment at a hospital
