A Message from the Principals
Hello Millbridge Families,
We have had an exciting week this week- the PTO's candy-corn guessing jar, the Halloween parade, numerous fun fall activities, a special author's party, and more. Next week, the school will be recognizing the students who were selected as Cub of the Month for October. These students have exemplified the bear paw of caring. The trait for November is responsible. Please join our efforts and discuss ways students can be responsible at home and at school.
Our 2nd-grade green team will be participating in a recycling challenge and will also launch a school-wide energy savers challenge.
We appreciate everyone's continued patience as we navigate the challenges with bussing. If our office receives notification that your child's bus will be late, you will receive an email and phone blast. Please be sure to listen to all messages that are sent during the school day.
Educationally yours,
Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Murphy

Mastery Connect
One of the many exciting enhancements that we have benefitted from with the introduction of Canvas is a program called Mastery Connect. This program has allowed us to move the district benchmarks that were previously administered on paper or a separate computer platform and house the information in one place so that we can see how our students have grown over time. If you are an observer in Canvas and have signed up for notifications, you may receive an update that contains a raw score. Please note that this is not your child's actual score and the scores are analyzed using a standards-based grading rubric. If you have questions about this, please feel free to contact your child's teacher.
New Jersey Department of Education Governor's Educator of the Year Recognition Program
The state looks to honor exceptional teachers and educational service providers through this program by showcasing excellence, student achievement, innovation, and dedication through service in public education.
Delran Township Public Schools would like your help in nominating educators to represent our four schools. Once selected at the school level, educators have the opportunity to apply for county and state recognition.
If you would like to nominate a teacher, paraprofessional, and/or educational services professional that have truly inspired you as an educator, parent, community member, or student, please click on the links below to submit your nominations by 11:55 PM on November 8, 2021.
We would like to thank you in advance for helping us determine our Delran Township Public Schools Educator, Paraprofessional, and Educational Services Professional of the Year.

Weekly Overview in Canvas
Snack at School
Currently, absolutely no shared foods are being permitted. Classroom parties will involve games, activities, and crafts only until further notice.
Become an Observer in Canvas
If you have not already done so, please be sure to become an observer for your child(ren) in Canvas. The information below is from the district's webpage and will help you become a co-observer. If you have multiple children, you will be able to see everything for them in one place. Teachers will be providing a weekly overview for parents and notes for the week in Canvas.
To enable co-enrollment (observer) in Canvas K-12 your student will need to generate a pairing code and you will need to link the account. A parent may pair (link) to multiple children in the same parent (observer) account.
You will need to set up the pairing through a web browser like Chrome. You cannot enable pairing or observing through the parent app.
Co-enrollment means you can view grades, upcoming assignments and due dates, missing work, and teacher communication.
Teachers can send individual, group, and course-wide messages to students and parents.
Once you're co-enrolled, you'll want to set-up your notification preferences. Click here for instructions on setting up your notification preferences.
