Week of March 23-27, 2015
Although a short week, we accomplished a great deal. Students were engaged in current event discussions from the treatment of elephants in the circus to the African slave labor in the chocolate industry. The financial literacy class is still figuring out their taxes and in psychology students are learning to reduce their stress level.

Next week Color War begins! We will have two days of academically challenging and enriching friendly competition based upon what are students are learning in each of their subjects. An engaging way to enhance what we are learning this semester.
Being Proactive with Thinkwave Each week during Presentation and Technology class, students are accessing Thinkwave, Conservatory Prep Schools' online grade communication portal. Students reviewing all current grades and create an individual plan if necessary in order to make up any missed assignments or schedule a conference with a teacher. | Math Sabrina takes on the challenge of Mrs. Hawkins warmups. Each day, Mrs. Hawkins begins her class by having the students perform mental exercises to get our students thinking 'math' before they begin their actual lesson. | Spanish In Spanish class our students are learning about imperative tenses through recipes. If you want the food to taste good, following directions is imperative. Understanding them from a Spanish recipe takes skill. |
