The Edmonton Shoebox Project
The list of items that are recommended to be included can be found here: www.shoeboxproject.ca/ways-to-give/make-a-shoebox.
With this cost, we are encouraging families to work together to build a box or students to get together with their friends and make it a group effort. If you don’t have a shoebox of your own, boxes can be acquired from Mrs. Glubish or Mrs. Christensen. Filled boxes can be given to the office to await delivery and must be brought in by December 9th.
A list of local shelters impacted by these boxes can be found here: www.shoeboxproject.ca/chapters/edmonton

Triple P Parenting Class: Rudeness and Disrespect Session
As teenagers transition from childhood to adulthood, parents and teenagers may not see eye to eye. Sometimes this behaviour is labeled as “rudeness” or “disrespect” and may lead to conflict and upset feelings. Join Strathcona County for an online discussion for parents and caregivers experiencing similar challenges. The session will provide suggestions on how to manage this behaviour and develop a positive relationship with your teenager.
