Summer Internship Pathways Program
In the first year, 41 students participated in and completed internships, including work experiences with the Oregon City Farmer's Market, Wilsonville Public Library, Clackamas River Basin Council, City of West Linn Parks and Recreation, Clackamas Workforce Partnership, PAWS Animal Shelter, Metro Native Plant Center, and Oregon Institue of Technology among other in-district internship experiences.
Students had the chance to receive one credit through Clackamas Community College as well as .5 high school credits for completing robust internships. Internships require 30 hours of work experience and real-life application of learning, as well as career-related assignments. Internships are based on student interest and community partner request.

Students Recommend Clarified Processes for "Reporting a Concern"
West Linn High School administration, counselors, and teachers joined District administrators in August to meet with West Linn High School student leaders. Working with counselors, students created informational brochures explaining sexual harassment and sexual assault. Students are also creating posters and visuals aimed at increasing both clarity and awareness for students.
At the Sept. 9 Board Meeting, West Linn High School seniors Kamerin Villagomez, Audrey Lipsey, and Moya Moses presented some of those materials to Board members. Working closely with WLHS counselors, teachers, and administrators, students have created informational brochures and are finalizing a presentation they will give to all WLHS staff.
Following student feedback, staff also updated Student Rights and Responsibilities to increase clarity for students in reporting concerns. Student Rights and Responsibilities were shared with all West Linn-Wilsonville students at the beginning of the school year and are available on the District Website. Discussion and information have also been shared with Wilsonville and Arts and Technology High Schools.
