Transformations in Escher`s tesselations
There are many kinds of transformations used in tesselations by M.C. Escher. There is reflection when an image is reflected across a line. Rotation in tesselations is when an image is rotated along an axis. Translaton is a transformation that slides an image over in another direction. Some tesselations use dialation when an image is made bigger or smaller than the original image size. Transformations take a big role in making tesselations.
