Favorite Workout of the Month
The front squat works your quads like crazy! This is a killer exercise for those of you looking to squat, but are having a hard time with form. Using front squats opposed to back squats forces your heels to stay on the floor due to the need to keep your back straight. Therefore it is less likely you will injure your knees. A lot of guys out there I see bending over way too far when they are squatting and this is ruining your knees and is dangerous because if your knee pops, all that weight is coming down on you. Another benefit of the front squat is that it forces you to drop your weight as it is harder to perform than a back squat. I have been killing this exercise on leg day and you should too!
