HFRCS Newsletter SY2021-2022
October 19, 2021 - Volume 1 Issue 9
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is Hawk Walk Week! This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and to date we are more than halfway to our goal! I am grateful to you, our school families, for your support of this event and for sharing your child’s donation link with your family and friends. On Friday, the day of our Hawk Walk, we will be inviting our school parents to join us in the morning for the “Mini Hawk Hustle” where our students will be on the field to join in some fun dancing with our “DJ Bridget B” as they strut their stuff to fun line dances and favorite student songs. Please stand by the fence to enjoy the “Mini Hawk Hustle,” and clap along to the fun. The schedule as to when each class will be outside is attached to this newsletter. Also attached are the assigned colors that the students should be wearing for the day. Our Home and School Association will be selling rainbow-themed treats, (allergy friendly options available!) which will be individually wrapped, for 50 cents each, the proceeds of which will go into our Hawk Walk fund.
In the afternoon, Grades 3-8 will be gathering out in the back lot to prepare for the Hawk Walk. Each grade will be walking together with some space in between for distancing. Our walk will be led by our 8th grade and we will be escorted by Officer Melissa Robison of the Middletown Township Police Department who serves as our School Safety Officer and who runs our DARE program. Out of an abundance of caution, we will not be inviting parents to walk with our students this year, as our primary goal is to ensure the safety of all.
Again, I thank you for your continued support of our school, our students and our 2021 Hawk Walk!
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty
Artsonia!
Holy Family Regional Catholic School is launching Artsonia! Artsonia is the world's largest collection of student art, published by teachers and students from around the world. New artwork is uploaded by your child's art teacher at school. Parents and family can view the art online, maintain a digital art gallery, leave comments and order keepsakes featuring the artwork. You may purchase high-quality custom keepsakes with your child's art or upgrade to an Artsonia+ family membership. The school arts program receives 20% of your purchase or membership fee to use for art supplies. Look for the BLUE invitation slip coming home in your child’s backpack.
