From Beginning with the End in Mind to the Home Stretch
For many weeks and months our students entered the building each school day passing our Beginning with the End in Mind Board. This bulletin board captured pictures of our students taken during their initial orientation in their caps and gowns. As students individually reached graduation goals throughout the year, they were celebrated and streamers were placed on their pictures. This daily motivating ritual is a small example of the many changes to our educational processes, as we have transitioned to full time virtual/distance learning. Today and moving forward it is very important that our students connect to their teachers, who are all eager to fill in with new routines to support the work and challenges remaining en route to graduation. I ask that parents, family members, and community peers check in with Crossroads Academy students to ensure they are on track and communicating consistently with our teachers and staff. Together, we can help support many students continue to reach their academic and life goals. Our students are the future healthcare workers, leaders, and other critical professionals who will support and shape our future.
